TASK: Draw a picture of a winter scene looking through a window and write a descriptive paragraph describing your scene.

We are learning how to draw using perspective so that we can create a scene from
looking out a window. (IMAGINE WE HAD ONE)
Learning Goal for Descriptive Writing:
We are learning how to write a descriptive paragraph so that we can write creating
visual vivid pictures for our readers and to help make our writing interesting.
Definition of Perspective:
A picture drawn in such a way to create the appearance of distance.
Brainstorm examples of WINTER SCENES:
*Kids skating
*Hockey game outside
*Tobogganing
*Skiing
*Snowball fight
*Building a snow
SUCCESS CRITERIA for VISUAL ART:
*I made my window frame neatly using a ruler
*I cut my window frame carefully with scissors so that there are no jagged lines
*I made 4 window frames
*I drew a scene lightly in pencil
*I made my scene continue into the different frames
*I coloured my picture in lightly with coloured pencils (no markers)
